Camp Jubilee offers a variety of outdoor educational activities. Each activity falls under the supervision of one of our five Senior Instructors. These senior staff members ensure all equipment in designated areas is in good working order and that adequate supplies are on hand at all times for group needs. They provide our instructors with evaluations, feedback and guidance in how to safety and efficiently run all camp activities.
Senior Instructors are responsible for all safety aspects and quality control in their specific program areas. They oversee Specialists and General Instructors. The Senior Waterfront Instructor is responsible for: kayaking, voyageur canoeing, beach study and swimming areas. They will conduct regular equipment inspections of all waterfront gear and will maintain equipment to the best of their ability.
The Senior Waterfront Instructor will ensure all instructors (both general and specialists) are running programs in the waterfront areas in accordance with the Camp Jubilee Policy manual standards. All Senior Instructors are expected to model enthusiasm, respect and professionalism at all times. They are responsible for training, supervising and mentoring all program staff. It is expected that all Jubilee team members adhere to our uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
