Camp Latona

LIFEGUARD

Camp Latona is located in the picturesque Howe Sound on Gambier Island, and has been a children’s summer camp since 1959.  Latona operates as a traditional overnight summer camp.

Camp Latona is looking for the ideal candidate to join our waterfront team.  As a member of this critical team you will possess a diverse skill set and curiosity to learn!

Duties include:

• ·      Waterfront Prevention
• ·      Supervision of swimmers
• ·      Assist with watersports
• ·      Assist with paddle sports

This position reports to the Waterfront Director and supports the program and activities teams. 

Requirements:

• ·      Candidates must be between 16-29 years old
• ·      Attend school in 2017/18 and planning to return to full time studies in fall 2018

Remuneration:

• ·      $110.80 per day
• ·      Accommodation and food
