Camp Latona is a co-ed, outdoor adventure camp for ages 7 - 17 located on Gambier Island in the beautiful Howe Sound. The camp season begins May 1, 2016. It consists of outdoor education programs for schools, and 5 weeks of summer camp and family camp. The employment period varies, ending in late August; some staff will remain into September and October Counsellors are the core of the camp staff. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic, and have a genuine concern for children. Counsellors supervise, lead, guide, and live with 8-10 children. They also teach activities (see list below). These positions require maturity, creativity, and strong commitment to children. Candidates must be at least age 19 and have graduated from high school.

Activities: Canoeing, Kayaking, Jewellery, Crafts, Kayaking, Outdoor Living Skills, Ropes Course

(High & Low), Swimming, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing, Archery, Sports, Hiking, Ecology, Rock

Climbing, and Tubing.
