Are you inspired by the morning mist rising off the lake, dashing through the forest with campers in tow, and discovering the secret life of a tree? Are you ready to inspire the next generation’s curiousity in the outdoors? Do you loooove campfires? Cabin Leaders are the go-to person for campers for support, problem-solving, and fun! Cabin leaders lead camper groups (aged 8-16) through weekly camp activities. They work as part of small teams to support Instructors in delivering activities like hikes, camp-wide games, Eco Fun (forest & environmental education) sessions, and thousands of spontaneous events using pool noodles, wit, and creativity! Given that all staff and campers stay onsite at the Evans Lake Forest Education Centre while camp is in session, the action never stops and, accordingly, applicants should enjoy working in ever-changing and dynamic work environments. High energy, patience, a can-do attitude, and a passion for working with youth are a must.
