Camp Sagitawa is seeking a PROGRAM DIRECTOR – Full Time

Responsible to: Camp Director

General Duties

 Develop, implement and facilitate effective and safe camp programs, ensuring that they fulfill the Camp's objectives and philosophy.

 Ensure that skills function smoothly, and assist in training staff for competency and record maintenance.

 View campers as customers and ensure that they receive proper care.

 Assist with staff recruitment as well as in the selection, training, and development of staff.

 Assist with follow-up for staff and campers.

 Represent camp as required at youth groups, churches, conferences, trade shows and schools, and liaison regularly with supporting church Youth Groups and College and Careers.

 Assist with rental groups as necessary.

 Complete various tasks as designated by the Camp Director and Board of Directors.

Qualifications

 Common belief in the Society’s Statement of Faith.

 Significant experience in a camp environment.

 Must have enthusiasm, be adaptable, dependable, self-motivated and possess an excellent work ethic.

 Must be articulate and possess excellent customer service skills.

 Must be professional and be able to maintain confidentiality.

 Must be able to accept guidance and supervision.

 Willingness to ask for assistance when needed or desired

 Ability to interact with all age levels in a positive manner.
