About Camp Jubilee

Camp Jubilee is a boat‑access adventure camp located on the shores of Indian Arm in North Vancouver. We operate year‑round, offering Outdoor Education programs, rental group experiences, and a vibrant Summer Camp. Our instructors live onsite during work shifts and contribute to a dynamic, supportive, and community‑focused team environment.

Role

Camp Jubilee hires Cooks, 2nd Cooks, Prep Cooks and Special Diets Cooks!

We provide three meals a day for up to 200 guests with buffet style service. We pride ourselves in having quality food with great presentation. We are looking for an experienced cook with baking skills to work along side our kitchen coordinator to provide seven-day coverage in our busy commercial kitchen. All staff team members are expected to model enthusiasm, respect, and professionalism always. It is expected that all Jubilee team members adhere to our uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Sampling of Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with menu planning and development.
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
• Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.

• Adhere to all safety and health regulations.

Employment Term:

• Full Season (Mid March to Late October) or
• Summer Only (End of June to Latre August)
• Full Time or Park Time

Minimum Certifications: 

• Prefer 2+ years experience working as a cook in a restaurant or commercial kitchen.
• Clear criminal record check with vulnerable person’s scan.
• Standard First Aid CPR-C (16-hour course)
• Food Safe Level #1
• Staff Orientation and Training

Wage:

• Daily Wage as per BC Minimum Wage for Camp Leaders, currently $ 152.00 – $ 176/Day plus additional wage for years of experience and preferred certifications.
