The Camp:
Camp Jubilee Retreat and Conference is located at our 128 acre waterfront property located just outside of Vancouver on Indian Arm (water access only). Camp Jubilee operates from approx. Job Description:
The Chef/Food Services Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving food services for guests visiting Camp Jubilee Retreat & Conference Centre. This position oversees all activities of the food services department including the kitchen, special diets kitchen, and 2 dining rooms 7 day per week.
This position ensures that the kitchen is operated based on food services plans, safety policies, operational procedures and customer service expectations. They also ensure that the kitchen and dining rooms are clean, tidy and presentable at all times. They manage a kitchen budget including staffing and raw food costs and is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen budget stays within budget guidelines. The position is also responsible for training, supervising, scheduling and mentoring all other staff working in the kitchen. Knowledge of special diets and food allergies are critical.
Qualifications:
· Experience cooking at a large volume facility
· Management experience and experience training and supervising staff
· First Aid (have or willing to obtain)
· Clear Criminal Records Search
