Silver Lake and acres of surrounding forest provide ample room for campers to discover not just the wonders of nature, but the chance to learn, grow and thrive in a healthy outdoor environment.
There’s something very special about overnight camps—lessons learned here last well beyond paddling a canoe for the first time or the final campfire—they help shape young lives and inspire new goals and dreams.
Silver Lake Forestry Center has been in operation for over 45 years and is known for offering quality forest education programs and outdoor camping experiences to young people between the ages of 7 and 16 years. The Camp includes a brand new lodge with full kitchen, 5 cabins that each sleep 14-24 people, High and Low Ropes courses, paddling and hiking and a dedicated Forest Education classroom.
